ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I began visual arts age eleven copying in oils everything I could and a lot of Norman Rockwell. Writing took hold of me at age seventeen and in between creative dancing then music-piano – all, a lifelong passion. I have made stained glass windows for churches, painted sets and costumes at Ontario’s Stratford Shakespeare festival theater and created several large sculptural murals in place. Exhibitions of my paintings, drawings and sculpture relief took place in Toronto and Paris France where I lived for more than six years.

The Alphabet trilogy began in 1975 as I had the idea to create ‘a living alphabet’.
